How to commission a portrait…

Bring your beloved pet to life on paper with a custom, hand-drawn portrait!

I use reference photos to create highly realistic and faithful depictions of your pet while also ensuring their unique personality is captured in the process.

All of my pencils and materials are 100% archival and lightfast, ensuring the portraits will last a lifetime.

You can book a portrait with me in 3 easy steps…

Step 1: Choose your portrait size

  • Mini (10x10cm) - AU$650

  • A5 (21 x 14.8cm) - AU$1050

  • A4 (29.7 x 21cm) - AU$1750

  • A3 (42x29.7cm) - AU$2950

NB. The drawing will fit comfortably within that paper size. Prices in Australian dollars.
Prices are for a single animal - for multiple pets within one portrait, please add 20% per additional animal.

Step 2: Find the perfect reference

The better the reference photo, the better the portrait! I take all the detail, lighting and depth from the reference so good quality photos are essential.

Taken in natural light at the same level as the pet is ideal, with clear details around the face and eyes in particular.

Step 3: Join my waitlist!

Because of the high level of detail, each drawing can take between 10-30 hours to complete and therfore I can only take a limited number of commissions each year.

Fill out this form to join my waitlist. Currently there is a 3 month wait for commissions.

If you need a portrait before a specific date, like a birthday or Christmas, get in touch as soon as possible to ensure I can fit it into my schedule.

I'll respond to your waitlist request promptly, confirming availability and timing. 

If you decide to go ahead, I'll ask for a 50% deposit to confirm your booking (with the balance due upon completion).
